Thousands of years ago the evil Mordaerim were defeated by a trio of heroes.
Aided by the wisdom of the Gods, and the immortal sorcerer Griseo Primus, they locked their ancient enemy away. History and the world moved on. The Mordaerim passed into myth and legend.
Having escaped their prison, the Mordaerim deliver a devastating attack, forcing the Elves to abandon their isolation and rejoin the world of men. King Galadon, desperate to save his people from those shadows whose very touch means death, must find a way to defeat them.
